Making Movement a Priority in Basildon

Find Your Active Basildon, the local network, are at the core of work undertaken in this locality. The network organise and deliver a multitude of sport and physical activity sessions and events within Basildon, Billericay and Wickford in order to get more people active and healthy. The network is represented on Basildon Health and Wellbeing board as well as helping to commission the Councils’ Sport Development Grant. Basildon is also one of the 3 Essex Local Delivery Pilot test areas as part of an exciting initiative, led by Active Essex, to build healthier, more active communities across Essex.
