Maldon locality

As the smallest district in Greater Essex, Maldon is home to 67,568 residents, with almost one-third now aged over 65, this is a significant rise from just a quarter at the last census.

This shifting demographic can place increasing pressure on the local health and community services, whilst also highlighting the vital role that sport and physical activity can play in reducing social isolation and supporting older residents to remain independent for longer.
